Confined Space Entry Procedures
Course Duration One- three days including practical element (dependent on level of competency required)

Who will Benefit Managers, Engineers, Technicians and Operatives who are required themselves or have responsibility for others who inspect or work in confined spaces.
Legislative Requirement The Confined Spaces Regulations 1997 and The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974

Aims of Training To provide instruction on the safe entry, egress and working procedures associated with Confined space operations including:
  • Legislation and Regulations relating to confined spaces
  • Atmospheric hazards and monitoring devices
  • Gas detection
  • Personal Protective Equipment and personal hygiene
  • Manpower requirements and risk assessments
  • Safe systems of work
  • The use of escape sets
  • Safe Entry and egress
  • Equipment servicing and cleaning

Maximum Number 8 number
Resource Required Client to provide:
  • If course to be held on Clients premises/site a training room to accommodate all the delegates with 240V power supply for the theory component of the course.
  • Confined Space and all equipment for practical element
Trainer to provide:
  • Training Equipment (course notes and presentation package)
