To provide instruction on the safe entry, egress and working procedures associated with Confined space operations including:
- Legislation and Regulations relating to confined spaces
- Atmospheric hazards and monitoring devices
- Gas detection
- Personal Protective Equipment and personal hygiene
- Manpower requirements and risk assessments
- Safe systems of work
- The use of escape sets
- Safe Entry and egress
- Equipment servicing and cleaning
