Safe Banking of Vehicles
Course Duration Half Day including practical element
Who will Benefit Anyone whose duties include the banking of vehicles around site and into live traffic routes.

Aims of Training

To train selected people in the knowledge needed to achieve the standard of competence to carry out the process of directing vehicles safely

Training Objectives

To allow delegates to understand the problems inherent in this function and to learn the safe system of work for this task. Topics to be covered include:

  • How banking accidents occur
  • Safe systems of banking
  • The banksman’s responsibilities
  • The driver’s responsibilities
  • Conduct clear and concise signals to drivers of vehicles on a site
Maximum Number of Delegates Six
Resources Required Client to provide:
  • Training room to comfortably accommodate all the delegates with 240V power supply for the theory component of the course
Trainer to provide:
  • Training Equipment (course notes and presentation package)
