Health & Safety Awareness for Building Operatives/Trades and Management
Course Duration One Day
Who will Benefit Anyone who works within the building/construction industry i.e. all general operatives who need to be aware of safety risks about their place of work
Legislative Requirement Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994 Construction (Health Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1996
Aims of Training

By the end of the course the delegates will have a thorough understanding of health and safety issues within the industry.

The course covers the common subjects that operatives will need to understand during the health and safety test for the CITB CSCS card scheme

Delegates should also be able to recognise risk and hazard circumstances on site and take the necessary preventative action

The attendees will have gained an understanding of the legal requirements to properly discharge their responsibilities
Maximum Number of Delegates 15 per course
Resources Required Client to provide:
  • Training room to comfortably accommodate all the delegates with 240V power supply for the theory component of the course
Trainer to provide:
  • Training Equipment (course notes and presentation package)
